The Young and the Restless has cast Ptosha Storey (The Oval, Empire) and Leigh-Ann Rose (Love Thy Neighbor) as Naya and Imani Benedict, two characters that will “interconnect with Amanda’s personal journey.” Both characters will debut on December 24.

Amanda Sinclair, played by Mishael Morgan, recently found out that the deceased character, Hilary Curtis, was actually her twin sister. She also discovered that there is no record of Rose Turner having given birth in the town where Hilary grew up with Rose, or in Madison, where Amanda was left on the doorstep of a fire station as a baby. She concluded that the birth did not take place in a hospital… or that Rose wasn’t their mother.

Storey has been a series regular on the BET series, The Oval, and her past credits that include If Loving You Is Wrong and Empire. Rose has appeared in the series Famous Farrah, Love Thy Neighbor, and Younger.
