Realm’s Original Thriller Podcast, If I Go Missing the Witches Did It, Now Available On All Platforms

Announced earlier this fall, the anticipated debut of Realm’s original, If I Go Missing the Witches Did It is now here. The thought-provoking and relevant nine-episode podcast is led by Academy-Award nominee Gabourey Sidibe (Precious, Empire) and premieres its first episode on Thursday, September 23 on all podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher. New episodes will be added every Sunday thereafter beginning on October 3.

The woman behind this forthcoming title is playwright and TV writer Pia Wilson (Genius: Aretha, BET’s Sacrifices) who channeled her personal experience and family history surrounding witchcraft when penning all nine episodes – a project that engages critically with themes like identity, race, class, and capitalism, that have inspired Wilson’s writing over the course of her career.

This satirical, psychological thriller follows Black writer Jenna Clayton (played by Sidibe) who, after a summer in Westchester (NY), soaking up how the other half lives with her white, well-to-do boyfriend, vanishes without a trace. The only clue: a set of voice memos detailing an investigation into a group of influencers she suspected were using magic to achieve their means. Sidibe is joined by voice actress Sarah Natochenny (Ash Ketchum in Pokemon) who plays Elise, a white podcast host with a savior complex who takes up the cause of finding Jenna.
