Sanaa Lathan Joins Cast Of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm For Season 12

Sanaa Lathan has joined Larry David, J.B Smoove and the cast of HBO’s longest running series, Curb Your Enthusiam, for its upcoming 12th season. The actress recently posted photos with David and Smoove on separate occasions, highlighting when she started and when she wrapped. It’s assumed she will be guest starring a couple of episodes.

With its 11th season, Curb became HBO’s longest-running series. Originally debuting on HBO in 2001, the series ran for eight seasons before taking a six-year hiatus and returning in 2017. With 110 completed episodes to date, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM stars “Seinfeld” co-creator David as an over-the-top version of himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his fictionalized life. The series also stars Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis, Vince Vaughn, and Ted Danson.

Lathan was last seen reprising her role as Robyn Stewart in Peacock’s The Best Man: The Final Chapters. This is her second stint with an HBO series. She was in season 3 of Succession as Lisa Arthur, a high profile, well-connected New York lawyer. Her performance earned her an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. On the film side, she made her feature length directorial debut with 2022’s On The Come Up.
