Novelist & screenwriter Sara Collins to adapt T.M Logan’s 29 Seconds for Limited Series
Deadline reports that ITV’s The Confessions of Frannie Langton scribe Sara Collins will write the adaptation of thriller writer T.M. Logan‘s 29 Seconds for a limited TV drama series by Frank Spotnitz‘s Big Light Productions.
Published in 2018, 29 Seconds follows a lecturer at a top university whose intolerable and obsessive boss is making her life hell. Faced with a decision to leave and uproot her family, or continue to rebuff his persistent sexual advances, Sarah feels trapped, until an unexpected encounter with a powerful and dangerous man ends with her being owed a favour that could fix her problems forever.
As part of Big Light Productions’ first look with One Piece maker Tomorrow Studios, the series is working under the title “One Name.”
One Name will be executive produced by Spotnitz and Elizabeth Kesses of EJK Productions alongside Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios.
Collins recently adapted her own novel, the Costa Book award-winning “The Confessions of Frannie Langton,” into a series for BritBox.
