Watch Exclusive Clip From Fifth Episode Of Final Season Of Apple TV+ Dickinson

Blackfilmandtv.com has been provided with an exclusive clip to the fifth episode from the third season of its acclaimed series “Dickinson.”

“Dickinson” is a half-hour comedy series that audaciously explores the constraints of society, gender and family from the perspective of rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson. Set in the 19th century, the series is a coming-of-age story that finds Emily to be the unexpected hero for our millennial generation.

In the third season of “Dickinson," Emily Dickinson’s most productive time as an artist falls amid the raging American Civil War and an equally fierce battle that divides her own family. As Emily tries to heal the divides around her, she wonders if art can help keep hope alive, and whether the future can be better than the past.

In episode 305, tradesman turned activist Henry (Chinaza Uche) is hired to teach the first African American regiment how to read and write. The soldiers are initially skeptical of Henry as he’s from the north, but despite the cultural divide, they eventually band together.

In the clip, Henry takes attendance for the troop as they give hilarious self intros, including a quip about the future greatness of THE Michael Jordan.

The soldiers/students featured in the clip include Everett (Tristan Griffin), Erasmus (Myles Evans), The Wall (Wavyy Jones) and Michael River Jordan (Curtis Morlaye). The show also features Amanda Warren, Wiz Khalifa, Ziwe (a writer for the show and portrays Sojourner Truth) and more.
