Exclusive: Angela Lewis on Snowfall’s Aunt Louie’s Journey, Jerome’s Death and Losing Amin Joseph As Her Scene Partner

In Episode 7 (“Charnel House) of the sixth and final season of FX’s Snowfall, audience saw that Jerome really did die in last week’s episode and that his wife and Franklin’s Aunt Louie are mourning this terrible loss. Amin Joseph played the hell out of that character and for Angela Lewis, she’s losing her biggest scene partner she’s had since the series began.

It’s been quite a journey for Lewis. Her portrayal of Louie went from being among the weakest to one of the strongest characters on the show. By the end of Season 5, Jerome and Louie broke from Franklin’s squad to being on their own and earning their own keep. With the loss of Jerome, who knows what state of mind Louie will be in. Will she want revenge on Franklin for thinking he’s at fault for her hubby’s demise or will she want to side along with him on his quest to get his money back from Teddy.

Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales caught up with Lewis as she talked about the aftermath of Lewis escaping death and losing Jerome in the process. She also goes the run she’s had on the show and how John Singleton helped her shape Louie into the character she is now.
