Exclusive: Billy Crudup talks The Morning Show Season 2

Coming out this week on AppleTV+ is its award-winning Apple Original drama series,“The Morning Show.” Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the 10-episode second season will debut globally on Friday, September 17, 2021 on Apple TV+ with the first episode, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

Picking up after the explosive events of season one, season two finds “The Morning Show" team emerging from the wreckage of Alex (Aniston) and Bradley’s (Witherspoon) actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play.

Along with Aniston and Witherspoon, the star-studded returning cast for season two includes Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin and Marcia Gay Harden.

BlackFilmandTV.com’s Wilson Morales recently caught up with Billy Crudup, who plays UBA executive in charge Cory Ellison. While he’s known for his roles in film such as Without Limits, Princess Mononoke, Almost Famous, Big Fish, Mission: Impossible III, Watchmen, Public Enemies, Spotlight, Jackie, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Justice League, and Alien: Covenant, Crudup’s role on The Morning Show earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and a Critics' Choice Television Award.
