Exclusive: Christina Milian, Devale Ellis talk Netflix's Meet Me Next Christmas

Currently playing on Netflix is the holiday movie “Meet Me Next Christmas,” starring Christina Milian, Devale Ellis and Kofi Siriboe.

Directed by Rusty Cundieff from a script written by Camilla Rubis and Molly Haldeman, the cast also includes Tymika Tafari, the Grammy-winning a capella group Pentatonix (Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee), Kalen Allen, Nikki Duval, and Wesley French.

Milian, who executive produced and stars in “Meet Me Next Christmas,” plays Layla, who, in pursuit of a fairytale romance with the man of her dreams, must race through New York City to get her hands on the hottest ticket in town: the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert.

The project marks Milian’s third collaboration with Netflix following her popular destination romances, 2021’s “Resort to Love” and 2019’s “Falling Inn Love.”

Ellis is best known for his role as Zac Taylor in the BET comedy-drama series, Sistas and in its spin-off, Zatima.

Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales talks to Milian and Ellis about the rom-com Meet Me Next Christmas.
