Exclusive: Christopher Nolan and John David Washington Talk ‘Tenet’
Finally hitting theaters this week in the US after a few delays stemming from theaters being closed due to the pandemic crisis is Christopher Nolan’s anticipated spy action thriller, Tenet.
John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman) is the new Protagonist in Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi action spectacle Tenet. Armed with only one word — Tenet — and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Not time travel. Inversion.
Tenet has a supporting cast that includes Robert Pattinson (Good Time), Elizabeth Debicki (Widows), Dimple Kapadia (Fugly), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Rises) and Kenneth Branagh (Dunkirk). Nolan wrote and directed the film, which was produced by Emma Thomas and Nolan.
In speaking exclusively with Travis Hopson, contributing for BlackFilmandTV.com, both Nolan and Washington spoke about working on this film.
