Exclusive: Emma Corrin on playing Cassandra Nova in Deadpool & Wolverine and shaving her head bald for the role
Currently in theaters is the third installment of Deadpool franchise with Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring the return of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Jackman returns to the role of Wolverine after his character died in 2017’s Logan. This will also be the first film in which Deadpool is part of the MCU since the Fox-Disney merger. As with the other Deadpool films, this will be R rated which is in contrast to the Marvel films released previously.

With a take of $211 on its first weekend, Deadpool & Wolverine is now the biggest opening weekend ticket seller of 2024, officially surpassing Inside Out 2, and the biggest opening weekend ticket seller in the Deadpool film franchise.
Directed by Shawn Levy, the cast in the film are Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, Shioli Kutsuna, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, & Jennifer Garner.
Corrin plays Cassandra Nova, the twin sister of X-Men leader Charles Xavier. She is best known for her role as Diana, Princess of Wales in the fourth season of the Netflix historical drama The Crown, for which they won a Golden Globe and were nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. They have since starred in the 2022 romantic drama films My Policeman and Lady Chatterley's Lover, and in the 2023 thriller miniseries A Murder at the End of the World.
