Exclusive: Frank Grillo and director Steven C. Miller talk Werewolves
Hitting theaters nationwide from Briarcliff Entertainment is the action thriller Werewolves, directed by Steven C. Miller and starring Frank Grillo, Katrina Law, Ilfenesh Hadera, Kamdynn Gary, James Michael Cummings, Lydia Styslinger, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Betzaida Landín.
In Werewolves, a supermoon event triggers a latent gene in every human on the planet, turning anyone who entered the moonlight into a werewolf for that one night. Chaos ensued and close to a billion people died. Now, a year later, the Supermoon is back.
The screenplay was written by Matthew Kennedy. It's produced by Jim Cardwell, Craig Chapman, Sevier Crespo, James Michael Cummings, Myles Nestel, & Steven C. Miller.
Grillo is best known for his roles in Captain America and Purge franchises, Kingdom, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and Lamborghini. He will next appear as Rick Flag Sr. in the newly rebooted DC universe of interconnected projects overseen by director James Gunn including the upcoming animated series Creature Commandos and in Season 2 of Gunn‘s popular DC series Peacemaker.
Miller is known for directing movies The Aggression Scale, Silent Night, Submerged, Extraction, Marauders, Arsenal, First Kill, Escape Plan 2: Hades, Line of Duty, and Margaux previously.
