Exclusive: Jude Law, Jurnee Smollett, and Tye Sheridan talk The Order

In 1983, a series of increasingly violent bank robberies, counterfeiting operations, and armored car heists frightens communities in the Pacific Northwest. As baffled law enforcement scramble for answers, a lone FBI agent, stationed in the sleepy, picturesque town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, comes to believe the crimes are not the work of traditional, financially motivated criminals, but of a group of dangerous domestic terrorists, inspired by a radical, charismatic leader, plotting a devastating race war against the federal government of the United States.
Jude Law stars as the FBI agent, along with Nicholas Hoult as white supremacist Bob Mathews, Tye Sheridan, Jurnee Smollett, Marc Maron, Odessa Young, Alison Oliver, and Philip Granger.
Law soon can be seen in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew from director Jon Watts and writer Christopher Ford. He recently played the iconic character Captain Hook in David Lowery’s Peter Pan & Wendy for Disney+ and as Henry VIII opposite Alicia Vikander’s Queen Catherine Parr in the historical thriller Firebrand.
Smollett was recently seen in We Grown Now, directed by Minhal Baig and starred opposite Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones in Amazon’s film The Burial. A veteran of many TV and film projects, she landed her first Emmy nomination for her lead role in HBO’s Lovecraft Country, Previously projects included series as Underground, True Blood, Parenthood and Friday Night Lights, among others. She appeared on the film side in titles like Lou, Spiderhead and Birds of Prey,
Sheridan starred opposite Ben Affleck in Clooney’s coming-of-age drama The Tender Bar for Amazon, also sharing the screen that year with Oscar Isaac and Tiffany Haddish in Schrader’s crime drama The Card Counter for Focus. Other notable film credits for Sheridan include Ready Player One, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Joe, Mud and The Tree of Life.
