Exclusive: Owen Wilson and Walker Scobell talk Secret Headquarters
Streaming on Paramount+ starting August 12th from Paramount Pictures is the superhero action comedy Secret Headquarters from filmmakers Henry Joost & Ariel Schulman and starring Owen Wilson, Walker Scobell, Jesse Williams, Keith L. Williams, Momona Tamada, Michael Peña, Abby James Witherspoon, and Jessie Mueller.
While hanging out after school, Charlie (Walker Scobell) and his friends discover the headquarters of the world's most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home, suspecting that his estranged father might have a secret double life. When villains attack, they must team up to defend the headquarters and save the world.
The screenplay is written by Josh Koenigsberg, Henry Joost & Ariel Schulman; from an original story by Christopher L. Yost. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman.
Wilson was last seen opposite Jennifer Lopez in the Universal rom-com Marry Me as well as Wes Anderson’s next film The French Dispatch. On the TV side, he was opposite Tom Hiddleston in Marvel’s Loki. Among his other recent film credits are Wonder, Father Figures and Bliss with Selma Hayek.
Scobell recently starred opposite Ryan Reynolds in Netflix’s The Adam Project and was just cast as the lead in the titular role of Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
