Exclusive: Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell and director Jaume Collet-Serra talk Black Adam

Hitting theaters on October 21, 2022 from Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics is Black Adam, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Dwayne Johnson in the title role of this action adventure.

Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari as Ishmael, Bodhi Sabongui as Amon, and Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate.

Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods — and imprisoned just as quickly — Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

Collet-Serra directed from a screenplay by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani. The screen story is by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, based on characters from DC.

Best known as the fifth actor to play secret agent James Bond in the Bond film series, Brosnan recently appeared in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, Cinderella, and The King's Daughter. He will next appear in Fast Charlie, which happens to be the late James Caan's last film.

Hodge’s notable roles have been playing Alec Hardison in the TNT series Leverage, MC Ren in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton, Levi Jackson in the 2016 film Hidden Figures, Noah in the WGN America series Underground, Matthew in Girlfriends and Jim Brown in the 2020 film One Night in Miami. He recently reprised his role as Hardison in Leverage: Redemption.

Centineo is best known for his roles as Jesus Adams Foster in the final three seasons of the television series The Fosters, the Netflix romantic comedy films To All the Boys I've Loved Before and its sequels, as well as Sierra Burgess Is a Loser and The Perfect Date. He’s set to star in the Netflix spy-adventure series The Recruit.

Swindell recently co-starred in the fourth season of HBO’s In Treatment, opposite Uzo Aduba and Anthony Ramos. She will next appear in the crime thriller, Master Gardner, directed by Paul Schrader and co-starring Joel Edgerton, Sigourney Weaver.

For Jaume Collet-Serra, this is his second outing with Dwayne Johnson. They first worked together on the fantasy adventure film Jungle Cruise. Most of his film have been Liam Neeson-led thriller films Unknown, Non-Stop , Run All Night, and The Commuter.
