Premiering Friday, November 29th with two episodes on streaming and on demand in the US and Canada for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® plan is the thriller series The Agency. It will have its linear on-air debut on Sunday, December 1st at 9pm ET/PT.
THE AGENCY features a star-studded cast, including 2x Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender and series regulars Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi and Richard Gere. Hugh Bonneville is a guest star. Recurring cast includes Adam Nagaitis, Ambreen Razia, Bilal Hasna, David Harewood, Kurt Egyiawan, Ray BLK, Sabrina Wu and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor.

Jeffrey Wright is “Henry,” Director of Operations and mentor to Martian. Wright most recently was seen as Thelonius “Monk” Ellison, the protagonist in Orion Pictures/Amazon MGM Studios’ American Fiction, for which he received Oscar, Golden Globe, Critics Choice, Gotham, SAG and NAACP Image Awards nominations, and won the Independent Spirit Award for his performance. Upcoming, Wright will star opposite Denzel Washington in the Spike Lee directed, Apple Original Films/A24 thriller, High and Low and he will appear in Season 2 of HBO’s The Last Of Us, reprising his role of Isaac from the video game.
Richard Gere is “Bosko,” London Station Chief with a storied past after serving as an 8-year undercover agent. Gere next stars in Oh’ Canada, from director Paul Schrader, alongside Jacob Elordi and Uma Thurman, and in The Making Of alongside Diane Keaton and Blake Lively.
Jodie Turner Smith is “Samia Zahir, ” Professor of Social Anthropology who has a history with Martian. Turner-Smith most recently appeared in Noah Baumbach’s Netflix movie White Noise and Disney+’s The Acolyte. Earlier this year she had joined the cast of Kogonada’s A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.
Katherine Waterston is “Naomi,” Operations Officer and ex-handler of Martian. Recently nominated for a BIFA for Best Supporting Actress for her role opposite Jodie Comer in Mahalia Belo’s feature The End We Start From, Waterston will next be seen in a lead role in Chris Weitz’s Blumhouse horror pic Afraid opposite John Cho, as well as the HBO series The Franchise. Recently wrapping on the indie Park Avenue opposite Fiona Shaw, she’ll also soon be seen in Topic Studios’ thriller Floodplain and Netflix’s Fear Street: Prom Queen, among other projects.
