Exclusive: TJ Atoms on playing Ol' Dirty Bastard (ODB) in Hulu's Wu-Tang An American Saga Season 3

Now playing on Hulu is "Wu-Tang: An American Saga" season three. The final season launched with three episodes on Wednesday, February 15. New episodes air every Wu-Wednesday, with the finale dropping on April 5.

Executive produced by Alex Tse, The RZA, Method Man and Brian Grazer, the cast includes Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore, Siddiq Saunderson, Julian Elijah Martinez, Marcus Callender, Zolee Griggs, T.J. Atoms, Dave East, Johnell Young, Uyoata Udi and Damani Sease.

Off the release of their debut album and their continued rise to fame, we follow the Wu-Tang Clan over the course of their five-year plan as they face and overcome different challenges. While each of the members go on separate journeys to figure out where they fit in the music world, RZA struggles to stay on top of things in order to fulfill the promise he made to his Wu brothers. As money, fame, ego, and business threaten to tear the group apart, they must find a way to come together and cement their legacy.

For TJ Atoms, who plays Russell “Ason Unique” Jones aka Ol' Dirty Bastard (ODB), this season has given the North Philadelphia native more to do as he provides some depth to ODB’s state of mind. Additional television credits for Atoms include STARZ!'s "Power," EPIX's "Godfather of Harlem," Netflix's "Orange is the New Black," Lifetime's/Netflix's "You" and CBS' "Blue Bloods." He also appeared in producer Lena Waithe's comedy "The 40-Year-Old Version."

Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales caught up with Atoms as he spoke about the role of an iconic figure in rap history.
