Exclusive: Vanessa Kirby talks Ridley Scott's Napoleon and playing Empress Joséphine
Hitting theaters nationwide from November 22nd, 2023 from Apple Studios is Napoleon, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix as the French emperor and military leader. This past summer, Kirby appeared in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One opposite Tom Cruise and reprising her role as Alanna Mitsopolis / White Widow from 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout. The English actress is best known for her portrayal of Princess Margaret in the Netflix drama series The Crown (2016–2017), for which she won the British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her notable film credits include Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, The World to Come, and Pieces of a Woman, for which she received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
