Talking Awards Season With Rotten Tomatoes Editor & Awards Pundits Jacqueline Coley

With just about a month to go before the Academy Awards take place on March 27, it’s still a race to see who win Best Picture as well as Best Actor, Best Actress, and etc. With the exception of Jane Campion, who is the favorite to win Best Director for The Power of the Dog, everything else is close.

Tonight’s SAG Awards will give a boost to those who are nominated in other award shows coming up such as the Indie Spirit Awards, BAFTA Awards, the Critics Choice Awards and then the Academy Awards.

Will it be The Power of the Dog, Belfast, CODA, West Side Story or King Richard? Can Will Smith hold on and outlast the growth of Andrew Garfield’s popularity from Tic Tock…Boom!

I recently spoke with Rotten Tomatoes Editor Jacqueline Coley about the state of the Oscar race and how the other award ceremonies will factor in. As a film journalist, she has interviewed countless celebrities and moderated hundreds of panel discussions at various film festivals, press conferences, and screening Q&A's. She’s also a member of the Critics Choice Association (CCA) and African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA), Jacqueline is one of the most insightful and engaging pundits covering the entertainment space.
