Brian White, Brandon T. Jackson, Danielle Nicolet & More To Star In The Impact Network’s Original Film ‘The Life Of Me’

As the Impact Network rebrands from a faith and gospel-focused multiplatform channel to include family-friendly lifestyle entertainment designed for Black audiences the network reveals its first “Impact Original” movie, The Life of Me.  

Brian White, Brandon T. Jackson and Danielle Nicolet will star in the Impact Network’s first original movie/family romance, The Life Of Me, under their “Impact Originals “collection. This film is a catalyst for the many films to come as Impact looks to fill the gap of high-quality family entertainment designed for Black audiences within the content landscape.  

The Life of Me, is written and to be directed by Ty Manns and produced by The Impact Network & Manns Mackie Studios. Bishop Wayne T. Jackson and Royal Jackson will also serve as the executive producers. The film shot on location in Nashville, TN. 

The film stars Brian White, Danielle Nicolet and Brandon T. Jackson and tells the story of a real estate mogul named Marcus Banks (White) who walks away from his fortune to find self-fulfillment, true friendship, and real love. A man with a conscience and heir to the family's multi-billion-dollar commercial & residential development business, Marcus becomes disgruntled with the family’s greedy tactics after learning his family would put the lives of innocent people in harm’s way to make a profit. He flees his big-time lifestyle to a small town where he assumes a new under-the-radar identity as a handyman named ‘Dom.’ There he finds a new version of himself, friendships, and love.

Danielle Nicolet plays ‘Kennedy’ a single mother, dance instructor and small business owner of the local small-town cafe and love interest to “Dom/Marcus.’  Kennedy and her brother try to keep their small business alive that was passed down by their late parents, despite the economic devastation experienced from the Covid-19 pandemic.  Marcus a.k.a. “Dom” faces a moral dilemma when his family’s company comes to his small-town hideout and tries to snatch land from his newfound friends. After learning of their plot from the Bank’s family ruthless “Fixer”‘Simon,’ played by Brandon T. Jackson.

Rounding out the cast in strong supporting roles is Reece Odum (“Saints & Sinners) who plays ‘Jasmine,’ Marcus’ heartless and overly ambitious sister who wants to take the seat of the family company’s throne and will stop at nothing to achieve her goal and Mandela Van Peebles (“Reginald The Vampire”) who plays Kenedy’s brother ‘Daniel.”

Zerogravity has partnered with Impact to distribute the film.
