Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III crosses $100M domestically, 15th Black Director to do so

This weekend, “Creed III” is expected to cross the $100 million mark domestically at the box office. That would make Michael B. Jordan the 15th Black director to do so and the second Black director to achieve that milestone in their directorial debut. Jordan Peele was the first with his 2017 Get Out, which took in $176M in the US domestically.

According to Deadline, Creed III is heading to $100M+ by Sunday with $26.7M in weekend 2, -54%, after a second Friday of $7.5M.
