WB Revives Website for The Matrix Resurrections
Warner Bros. Pictures has reopened the official site for the the highly-anticipated The Matrix Resurrections. WhatIsTheMatrix.com was used during the first three installments (The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions) of the franchise. The first trailer is also coming on Thursday, September 9!
The teaser site gives you a choice between the red pill and the blue pill.
The Matrix Resurrections will open in theaters and IMAX on December 22. The fourth installment will also be available on HBO Max for 31 days from the film’s theatrical release.
The Matrix Resurrections reunites original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity, respectively.
Also starring are Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christina Ricci, Telma Hopkins, Eréndira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Brian J. Smith, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Directed by Lana Wachowski from a script written by Lana Wachowski & David Mitchell & Aleksander Hemon, the film is based on characters created by The Wachowskis.
The producers include Grant Hill, James McTeigue, and Lana Wachowski. Garrett Grant, Terry Needham, Michael Salven, Jesse Ehrman, and Bruce Berman are the executive producers.
The production companies behind the movie are Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures, and Venus Castina Productions.
