Trailer to BET+ film ‘Wake’ starring Shoniqua Shandai, J. Alphonse Nicholson, McKenna Posey, and DeRay Davis
BET+ has released the trailer to its upcoming film “Wake,” which will premiere on Oct. 12. Directed by Erik White from a script written by Darryl Quarles and Terayle Hill, the cast includes Shoniqua Shandai, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Parker McKenna Posey, and DeRay Davis.
The film centers around a brilliant MIT physics professor grappling with severe narcolepsy. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she feels the woman she’s fallen in love with might be in danger due to their new, famous and potentially dangerous neighbor.
Also included in the cast are Joshua Craig, Christopher Timberlake, Lauren Elise, Charlton Harris, Mimi Gee, Vickie Warehime, and Angela Lynn Hollis.
Executive producers include Tracey Edmonds for Edmonds Entertainment and Chuck and Bree West for Octet Productions.
