Trailer To Kingdom Business Season Two

BET Plus has released the trailer to Season 2 of “Kingdom Business,” which will premiere on Nov. 2, with new episodes every week.

The ensemble cast includes Yolanda Adams, Serayah, Michael Beach, Kiandra Richardson, Tamar Braxton, La’Myia Good, Chaundre A. Hall-Broomfield, Michael Jai White, Aspen Kennedy, and Tyler K. Whitley. Erica Campbell, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Israel Houghton, Tamela Mann, David Mann, Naomi Raine, Loretta Devine and Michelle Williams join Kingdom Business season 2.

The series explores the gospel music industry and themes of family, faith, love, and music. The series follows Denita (Yolanda Adams), a gospel superstar managing Kingdom Records and serving as the First Lady of First Kingdom Church. It also follows Rbel (Serayah), a young woman with a disruptive past as an exotic dancer.

Season 1 finale left audiences with a cliffhanger for Michael Beach’s character, “Bishop Calvin Jordan,” who was last seen at the altar in deep reflection before we hear a gunshot and fade to black. His fate remains unknown.

This season, the scandalous antecedent events of lust, love, and denial have caused a kingdom in chaos! In defense of their faith-filled legacy, the Jordan family fights for their gospel record label, their positions in the church, and even their lives. All the while, disgraced gospel phenom, Rbel, struggles to secure justice for Dani and escape her own demons. As family members reunite, new alliances form, and old secrets surface...Rbel searches for answers, and Denita battles to retain her gospel throne.

Loretta Devine and Louis Gossett, Jr. will portray Denita Jordan’s parents, Darlene and Jeremiah.

The series is created and showrun by John J. Sakmar and Kerry Lenhart, with additional writers like Ruth Ferrera, Corey Moore, Jasmine Swift, and Sara Ray. Directors include Neema Barnette, Mary Lou Belli, Oz Scott, and Terri J. Vaughn.

Warryn Campbell and Kirk Franklin compose the music for the series. Executive producers are Dr. Holly Carter, DeVon Franklin, Kirk Franklin, Michael Van Dyck, and co-executive producer Ruth Ferrera. Producers are Keesha Brickhouse and Jim Bigwood. Production is handled by Dae Light Media, Relevé Entertainment, Franklin Entertainment, and FoYo Soul Entertainment.
