Trailer To Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho
Focus Features has released the trailer to Last Night in Soho, the highly-anticipated new Edgar Wright film starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie, Matt Smith, Terence Stamp, Diana Rigg, Rita Tushingham, Michael Ajao, and Synnøve Karlsen. Focus Features will release the film in theaters on October 22, 2021.
Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller about a young girl, passionate in fashion design, who is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it appears, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences…
The film will mark the final film appearances for Rigg and Margaret Nolan, who died in September and October 2020, respectively.
Edgar Wright and Penny Dreadful scribe Krysty Wilson-Cairns co-wrote the screenplay. The film was produced by Nira Park, Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, Laura Richardson and Wright. Focus Features and Film4 co-financed the film.
