Exclusive: Kamal Bolden talks The Endgame And 61st Street

Tonight is the finale of NBC’s The Endgame, starring Morena Baccarin, Ryan Michelle Bathé, Costa Ronin, Jordan Johnson-Hinds, Kamal Bolden, Noah Bean and Mark Damon Espinoza.

A pulse-pounding high-stakes two-hander about Elena Federova, a recently captured international arms dealer and brilliant criminal mastermind who orchestrates a number of coordinated bank heists throughout New York City for a mysterious purpose. Her antagonist is Val Turner, the principled, relentless and socially outcast FBI agent who will stop at nothing to foil her ambitious plan. The gripping heist drama reveals how far some people will go for love, justice and the most valuable commodity in the world: the truth.

Kamal Bolden plays Owen Turner, Val’s husband and a former FBI agent who was sentenced to ten years in prison for his involvement with a drug cartel.

Bolden also has a recurring role in AMC’s ‘61st Street,’ which stars Courtney B. Vance, Aunjanue Ellis, and Tosin Cole. He plays ‘Officer Young’, an officer who works within this system dedicated to locking up criminals.

In speaking with Blackfilmandtv.com’s Wilson Morales, Bolden talks about his roles and getting acting work in general. His TV credits also include Rosewood, Chicago Fire, The Resident and Insecure. In features, he was seen in the Hulu comedy Vacation Friends, opposite John Cena and Lil Rel Howery.
