Tonight is the season finale for Law & Order: Organized Crime, in which Christopher Meloni is back playing his role as Elliot Stabler.

Stabler came back to investigate the murder of his wife, Kathy, and rejoins the NYPD but in a different department. The city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he's been away and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Stabler will aim to find absolution and rebuild his life while leading a new elite task force that is taking apart the city's most powerful criminal syndicates one by one.

One of those syndicates is run by Richard Wheatley, played by Dylan McDermott. Along with his boss, Sergeant Ayanna Bell (played by Danielle Moné Truitt), Stabler has to deal with Wheatley, his organization and Wheatley’s ex-wife Angela (played by Tamara Taylor) in order to get some peace of mind and a compass to continue moving forward in his life.

Having appeared on TV in guest-starring roles on “Snowfall,” “Super Fun Night” and “Mulaney,” Truitt came to attention when she was handpicked by the late John Singleton for the title role of his BET drama series “Rebel” and recently joined Fox’s drama series “Deputy” as a series regular alongside Stephen Dorff.

For Taylor, she returns to network television after spending 11 seasons on Fox’s popular drama “Bones.” She also appeared opposite Joel Kinnaman in the first season of Netflix’s “Altered Carbon” and was the lead of Netflix’s sci-fi drama “October Faction.”

Both ladies recently spoke with BlackFilmandTV.com’s Wilson Morales regarding their characters and how each provides a balance to Elliot Stabler’s life.
