Coming out this week from Warner Bros. Pictures’ New Line Cinema is The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, the highly-anticipated sequel to The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016). The movie opens in theaters and IMAX nationwide on June 4, 2021 and will be available on HBO Max for 31 days from theatrical release.

“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Wilson and Farmiga). One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.

“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” is the eighth film in the “Conjuring” Universe, the largest horror franchise in history, which has grossed more than $1.8 billion worldwide. It includes the first two “Conjuring” films, as well as “Annabelle” and “Annabelle: Creation,” “The Nun,” “Annabelle Comes Home” and “The Curse of La Llorona.”

Best known for his role as King Henry VIII in the TV series The Spanish Princess, alongside Game of Thrones star Charlotte Hope., Ruairi takes on the role of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, the murder suspect who the Warrens try to defend. He will next be seen as as Buddy Holly in the new biopic about the iconic musician’s life which is being directed by Driving Miss Daisy director Bruce Beresford.

Aside from appearances in “Living in Harmony SodaStream,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “NOS4A2,” “Monsterland,” and “The Valley,” this is Sarah Catherine Hook’s biggest role to date. In this Conjuring film, she plays Arne’s caring girlfriend, Debbie Glatzel. She will next be seen in the upcoming series “First Kill.”
